Labor Studies Programs

Complete labor studies programs are available at four Bay Area colleges.  Classes include such topics as collective bargaining, grievance handling and arbitration, labor law, history of the American labor movement, labor economics and more.  Students can take classes on a one time basis, earn a certificate or an AA degree from the three community colleges and/or transfer to San Francisco State to earn a bachelors degree.  Each of these labor studies programs can also provide internal trainings, custom tailored for a particular union.  Some programs maintain film and video libraries.
